3rd Class pupils were so lucky to engage in a 'Marine Explorers Seashore Safari' where the children had the opportunity to learn about marine animals, seaweeds and environmental care. After their in-school lesson, the children embarked on an amazing field trip into the village to explore Carlingford's beautiful seashore and put their learning to the test in search for various marine plant and animal life. We were all blown away by what we had found, things most of us would fail to see or notice at the seaside. It was so lovely to watch the children take a hands on approach to their learning and watching their reactions to their many discoveries was priceless. We definitely have a few bidding marine experts amongst us!
