Congratulations to all the children and parents who took part in our Sponsored Cycle on May 18th at the Carlingford Greenway as part of Bike Week. We had safety sessions led by On your Bike tutor Joei the past 2 fridays at school sponsored by Louth Sports Partnership. These were very beneficial to the children some learning to ride their bike while others learning safety techniques while cycling on the roads. We had 5 women cyclists, 7 male cyclists, 23 children cyclists, 9 supporters. Many thanks to all who chaperoned (including Carlingford Celtic Player Peter), those who organised decorations and who organised treats, refreshments and Certificates for all participants. Thanks to Louth Sports Partnership for providing sponsorship towards our refreshments and Safety Sessions. We all thoroughly enjoyed some food at Rabelo afterwards. We have raised €760.
